Leafy banned, and up next is Keemstar… or so the new rumor say. YouTube are supposedly going after ‘problematic’ creators and the DramaAlert host is next.

  • Leafy permanently banned for “severe” breach of YouTube policy.
  • Pokimane claims she has nothing to do with it.
  • Last video had comedy sketch attacking H3H3 productions.
  • Insiders say “Leafy is done for good.”

This weekend Calvin Lee Vail, a YouTuber known as Leafy or LeafyIsHere, was permanently suspended from YouTube. The 25-year-old YouTuber commentator and content creator had no active strikes on his channel.

The Twitch community openly celebrated the “deplatforming” of Leafy claiming that his content was harassment under the guise of criticism. Popular Twitch streamer Asmongold (Zack) shocked many when he sided with YouTube on their decision to suspend Leafy’s YouTube channel.

Imane ‘Pokimane‘ Anys was quick to respond on Twitter and claimed that she had absolutely nothing to do with the ban, but Leafy’s fans are not so sure she’s telling the truth.

“Hopefully the Leafy ban is only the beginning of YouTube taking action on channels who’s content is primarily at the expense of others Harassment veiled as ‘criticifm'”, Asmongold tweeted after hearing the news on Leafy’s ban.

Zack’s comment received a mixed response from his supporters.

Asmongold on Leafy

Asmongold, famous variety Twitch streamer, vehemently stands behind his comments about Leafy’s ban while locking horns with Keemstar.

Daniel ‘Keemstar’ Keem, host of the YouTube news channel DramaAlert, responded negatively to Zack’s comment and called him a “complete idiot.”

Keem tweeted, “You’re a complete idiot with complete idiot fans… And once again there you are setting a bad example for your idiot fans. Maybe you deserve to have all your social media shut down completely for you to understand how dumb you are.”

Leafy and Keem have been friends since around 2016 when he first appeared on his Baited podcast–co-starring Clown and TommyC–to address some the harsh criticism he received after Ian “iDubbbz” Carter released a Content Cop video on his series.

Calvin Lee Vail, better known as Leafy (or LeafyIsHere) is now permanently banned off YouTube following his video series on Twitch streamer Pokimane. His last video featured a “surreal” animation where he tells Ethan Klein of H3H3Productions to eat his wife who is portrayed as a horse.

Now, according to a new rumor sparked by respected Esports reporter Rod Breslau, Keemstar is set firmly in the sights and YouTube will pull the trigger on his channel next.

Breslau confirmed that Leafy was permanently banned from YouTube stating that he had “multiple or severe violations of YouTube’s policy prohibiting content designed to harass, bully, or threaten.”

Shortly later Breslau reaffirmed the rumor that with a sinister “Keemstar is next,” suggesting this is a purge of ‘problematic’ content creators.

Rod Breslau and Daniel ‘Keemstar’ Keem have bumped heads before. The last time being when Keem accused Breslau (aka Slasher) of sexually harassing a controversial YouTuber known as Brittany Venti.

Direct messages between Breslau, Venti and Jessix exposed the Esports reporter of admitting he had a “love hate crush” on Venti. Venti turned down his advances and, according to Keem, Breslau smeared her name online in order to ruin her career.

Brittany Venti continuously found her content being falsely reported and received multiple strikes on her account after she rejected Breslau.

Although the new rumor about Keemstar is still unconfirmed we know that Leafy’s (LeafyIsHere) YouTube ban is permanent, so he may not return to the platform. It is still unclear where he will head in the future.
